Free outdoor concerts in MoCo

Those of you who live in Montgomery County have a built-in supply of free, kid-friendly outings to choose from this summer. Check out the Post's extensive compilation of these events, running now through August in Bethesda, Germantown, Rockville, Wheaton, Gaithersburg, and Montgomery Village.

Anyone who knows of free outdoor concerts in other parts of the DC area should post them here in the "comments" section. Enjoy!

Hi Sarah and everyone -

We're organizing a great summer festival for July 18 at the Gaithersburg City Hall Pavilion (with the City of Gaithersburg) called "Summer Safari Festival." Last year we drew over 2000 people and this year we're headlined by a "duo" of Sirius/XM's Robbie Schaefer and Rocknoceros (to form "Robbienoceros"). We'll have a mini-carnival, petting zoo, face painting, food and much much more! Check out www.summersafarifestival.com for more information or call us at 301-309-2386 ext 3.

Best regards,
Andrew Ross
