Weekend Watch: Memorial Day weekend

Two great, FREE Memorial Day events appropriate for young kids this holiday weekend: On Monday, check out the 28th Annual Parade & Festival in Falls Church or the National Memorial Day Parade in downtown DC.
The Falls Church event runs all day on the grounds of City Hall, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with live music, carnival rides, pony rides, food vendors, and arts & crafts booths. Parade starts at 2:00.
The DC parade begins at 2 p.m. and moves down Constitution Ave. It's huge - and so are the crowds - so take metro and leave early.
Enjoy a fun and safe extended weekend!
