Richard Scarry-inspired show at Imagination Stage opens September 27

Thanks to DCB reader Bette for sharing this tip: The fabulous Imagination Stage in Bethesda will soon open its production of BUSYTOWN, inspired by one of our family's favorite children's picturebook authors, Richard Scarry.

Many of the productions at Imagination Stage are geared toward older children, but this one is great for all ages - including the youngest preschoolers. The Washington premiere of this show runs September 27 through November 2, with selected weekday matinees, as well as weekend shows. (As an added perk, kids get to meet the actors after every weekend matinee.) Tix range from $10 to $21.
