Weekend Watch: Family-oriented Colonial Fair in McLean
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm in McLean will hold its annual Summer Market Fair this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.
The all-ages event will feature puppet shows, "swordmasters" (!), rope walkers, fiddlers and dancing, a three-legged race and other games, and many folks dressed in period costumes. There will also be loads of food and drinks on hand, and unique stuff for grownup shoppers.
