New meal delivery service on the local scene

Filed Under:

There's a new locally-owned, woman-owned meal delivery service on the scene that would be perfect for a baby shower gift certificate or a way to outsource some of what makes your own family's evenings so hectic.

DC-based Urban Tastes offers simple ordering through an online store, serving most of the Washington metro area. Each week, a rotation of five meals is offered to customers, along with three sides and a dessert. Meals are delivered once or twice a week, depending on your needs. And they say they are committed to using as many regional, organic products as possible. (I love that they offer vegetarian versions of their entrees, as well as suggested wine pairings from the Greater Washington Wine School.)

A welcome addition to local options for busy parents! For more info, visit their website or contact Megan Adams: 202.277.7251.
