February 23: Rock-n-Tot comes to Washington
Mark your calendar! Rock-n-Tot kicks off on Saturday, February 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the District.
The newest family event to hit DC, Rock-n-Tot is an afternoon dance party for kids (birth through age 12) and their parents or caregivers. The program was co-created by an Ohio mom and a Maryland mom, in an effort to provide a family-friendly event that would be fun for adults and kids alike.
Rock-n-Tot will be held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 2 to 5 p.m., beginning February 23. UltraBar (at 911 F St. NW) will be transformed into a kid-centric dance party, complete with a DJ spinning music (with clean lyrics), bubbles, egg shakers, and scarves… plus face painting, airbrush tattoo artists, complimentary massages and other services for the adults. And did I mention free juice boxes and kid snacks? Also: Gift bags and giveaways and a nursing zone/changing station.
Pre-walkers get in free. Everyone else is $15 per person.
For more info or to get your tix, go to www.rock-n-tot.com or send email to Liz at: rock.n.tot.dc-at-gmail-dot-com.
