Alexandria's "Stories in the Park"

Filed Under:

A new-to-me summer program at Fort Ward Park: The Alexandria Public Library will host "Stories in the Park" from 11 to 11:45 a.m. on selected Wednesdays - June 13 and 27; July 11, 18, and 25.

You're encouraged to bring something to sit on - and a picnic, if you'd like to take advantage of one of the nearby tables after the storytime.

In case of rain or extreme heat (not sure how they qualify "extreme"), the storytime will move to the branch library at 4701 Seminary Rd. (To find out about relocation, call 703.838.4555, ext. 217 after 9:30 a.m. on program day.)

General info about this program is available by ringing the Barrett branch library at 703.838.4555, ext. 3.
