The Family Room on Capitol Hill

Filed Under:

The new indoor playspace on Capitol Hill is now open! Long overdue, and it's getting a thumbs-up review from at least one of my readers, Jennifer G., who just held her daughter's second birthday party there.

The Family Room, founded by two local mamas and located just around the corner from the Eastern Market metro station, officially opened a few weeks ago - and they have already been featured in an article in the Hill Rag.

Currently they are offering early childhood language classes for ages 1-5 and music classes for ages 1-3, in addition to hosting daily open play, playgroups, birthday parties, storytimes, special children's concerts and other events. Their number: 202.640.1865.
