Heads up for The Great Moms' Walk & Carnival in Springfield, VA

Filed Under:

Thanks to local mama Michelle for passing this along:

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), a nonprofit organization designed to meet the needs of mothers with young children, is hosting The
Great Moms' Walk & Carnival
on Saturday, April 28 at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Bible Church (6911 Braddock Rd.) Springfield, VA.

Proceeds will benefit Springfield Challenger Baseball, a Little League baseball program for special-needs children.

The family event includes a 1.5 mile walk (to allow all fitness levels to walk) - strollers, tricycles, strollers, and wagons are all welcome - and a young children's carnival with face-painting, moon bounce, ball toss, etc.

This is a fundraiser, so donations are welcome and are 100 percent tax deductible.

For more information and registration, send email to mops (at) immanuelbible (dot) net or visit www.springfieldchallenger.org.

There are loads of MOPS chapters throughout the DC metro area - find your local chapter and get more info at www.mops.org.
