Tuesdays are "Mommy & Me" movies at the Drafthouse

Filed Under:

I've been asked to help spread the word...The new "Mommy & Me" movies program at the fabulous Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse is now a reality!

As of March 6, every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. the Drafthouse is screening "second run" movies exclusively for moms (or dads) who have their babies with them. The lights are dimmed (but not totally dark), the sound level is reduced, and you can bring your stroller inside the theater.

Tix are $5.50 per adult, and no charge for the kiddos. They also offer a limited food menu during this show, so you can have a late lunch or a snack while you're at it.

This is a great way for new mamas to get out of the house and catch a movie in a baby-friendly environment. I hope lots of you Arlingtonians will support this, so that the Drafthouse decides it's good business to keep it going! The movie schedule is determined week-by-week.
