On the magazine rack: Gems from the City Paper & Washingtonian
Filed Under:
Hot off the press! The Washington City Paper has published the annual Education Issue, and it's worth checking out - if only for the commiseration. (You're not the only sad sap who loses sleep at night over future schooling.)
The highlights:
"DIY Charter Schools: How to Get a Good Education for Your Children at a DC Public Schools Price"
and the ominously headlined
"How to Fire a DC Public School Teacher"
Speaking of things ominous... A new article in Washingtonian magazine you should read:
"Can You Get Me In?: Parents of Little Children are Hiring Admissions Consultants"
