Filed Under:

TODAY, at 11 a.m. on WAMU (88.5 FM), what promises to be an interesting program on the Diane Rhem Show:

The guest is Dr. David Walsh, president and founder of the National Institute on Media and the Family. And the subject matter is that of his new book, No: Why Kids - of All Ages - Need to Hear It, & Ways Parents Can Say It.

Here's the programming summary:
"One of the most important, but often most difficult, thing for a parent to do is say 'no' to their child. But saying no lays the foundation for vital skills including self-reliance, self-discipline and integrity. A look at the importance of saying 'no.'"

You can listen online with streaming audio, or tune in the old-fashioned way to 88.5 on the radio dial. If you miss the live program, archives will be available on the website within a coupla hours after airing. (Transcripts, etc. require purchase.)
