DC Diaper Drive
Have unopened packages of diapers in a size that your DC baby has outgrown? Or do you have a diaper coupon lying around? Great! You can make a difference for local babies and toddlers who are in need of the basics.
The DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence is sponsoring a Diaper Drive now through April 15, to help make life a little easier for mothers and their little ones who have been affected by violence in the home.
To help: You can drop off new, unopened packages of diapers (in any infant or toddler size) at the Coalition's office, 5 Thomas Circle NW in the District. Please call ahead or email to arrange your drop-off, to ensure that someone is available to receive the diapers when you come by: 202.299.1181, ext. 106 or kmcintyre (at) dccadv (dot) org.
To download a PDF of the Diaper Drive flyer - which you can share with your mother's group, church/synagogue, or neighbors - click here.
