Children are especially welcomed, and there will be child care and activities for the little ones provided by SIDS Mid-Atlantic. Attendees should bring a dish to share. Something new this year: Bring photographs or other mementos of your baby and participate in a scrapbooking or memory box creation session for your babies or pregnancies. The family dinner and get-together will be followed by a brief memorial service in the chapel. RSVP to Betty Connal at 703.933.9100 or sidsma27 at aol dot com.
In the works for later this week: A blog post on some of the best bilingual playgroups, parent support groups, and preschools in and around DC! If you have a resource or suggestion people should know about, please drop me a line: sarah at dc-baby dot com.
