DC BABY on sale!

DC BABY Update

Filed Under:

You'll notice that we've made some cool updates to the site this week! Not only is the book available for purchase online, but we've also added fun merchandise for your DC baby and you. Check out the hip onesies, tees, and bibs for infants through preschoolers. I just ordered a onesie for Ava, so you'll soon be subjected to a photo of my little cutie in her DC BABY gear.

We've also added some new links to businesses and nonprofit organizations serving Washington's pregnant women and parents with young children. In the mix are links to the BellaOnline pregnancy website (for which I recently became the volunteer editor in my "free time") and educational materials on Rotavirus for parents of infants and toddlers from the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition, for whom I'm a consultant. More local links are coming next week! Among them, DC's best baby nurse and postpartum consultant, Meredith Ball of Babiease.

We're still in talks with vendors in and around DC who will be selling the book. I know that the eternally chic Dawn Price Baby (Capitol Hill, near Eastern Market) plans to carry it. Stay tuned for more spots where you can pick it up around town.

If you are a retailer or someone who provides services to pregnant women and parents in the Washington area and you'd be interested in offering the book to your clients, drop me a line at sarah at dc-baby dot com and we'll talk wholesale.

If you're a member of the press and want to review the book, get in touch and I'll send you our press materials and a review copy.

If your nonprofit group would like to schedule a speaker to discuss resources for expectant couples and parents in and around DC, feel free to drop me a line. I have a good time sharing what I know!

To all of you who have already bought your copy online and by snail mail, THANK YOU FOR READING. My family and I so appreciate your support of our hard work.
